The Norfolk Lions are pleased to announce the recipients of its 2019 scholarship awards. Four $1500 scholarships were awarded to high school seniors. To be eligible, the student must reside in Norfolk but can attend any public or private high school or be home schooled. The scholarships are awarded to candidates who demonstrate a commitment to active involvement in community service, as well as academic performance and participation in other extracurricular activities. This year’s recipients are: Nikita Murli High School: King Philip High School Attending: Northeastern University Anthony Bozza High School: King Philip High School Attending: Worcester Polytechnic Institute Kylie Breen High School: King Philip High School Attending: Endicott College Marie High School: Ursuline Academy Attending: Boston University The scholarships were presented to the three King Philip students at the King Philip Awards Ceremony on June 4 at the high school. Representing the Norfolk Lions Club at the awards ceremony were Kim Galvin, President and Anne Marie Smith, Chair of the Scholarship Committee. Marie received her scholarship separately. The Norfolk Lions congratulate these recipients on their success and is proud to support the achievements of these deserving students.
