FACTS

Deaths from opioid use have risen rapidly in the last 5 years. In Massachusetts, the death rate per 100K people is almost triple the national average.

Far too many young people are dying from this epidemic. More so, many others are addicted and suffering. The emotional and financial impacts on families, parents, brothers, sisters, friends, and co-workers is profound. Too many people have passed, yet there is good news to this story. Government is starting to take action, and hope abounds for the many afflicted by this disease.

The #2069 campaign, an awareness project by the Trinity Episcopal Church in Wrentham, has been instrumental in shedding new light and raising awareness of the opioid crisis affecting so many in our communities.
